Timber or Plywood Partitions
Timber or plywood partitions bring a more traditional design to the office, creating a warm and long-established feel. As a favourite for years in the office fit out and design industry, they are easy to design and install of any office and bring a natural feel to the office space.
Plywood office partitions are available in a variety of different finishes including natural plywood, laminate, sprayed finish or fabric. Plywood partitions can come with timber faced trims, glazing sections, doorframes and skirting depending on the design specifications, which makes them easy to dismantle and relocate to another position in the office.
They are suitable for almost any room in an office building, from reception areas to boardrooms and conference rooms, or the general office environment. With plenty of finish options to choose plywood partitions can fit into any office space.
Plywood partitioning systems can also be combined with glazing to give a brighter feel to a room. With a choice of single, double or Crittall (black-framed) glazed office partitions give you great versatility when designing your office space. Plywood partition walls are also great at providing a soundproof environment, with solid partitions been capable of providing a soundproof rating of up to 52 dB (Rw), and glazed partitions reaching 40 dB (Rw).
Aluminium partitions prove to be one of the most durable partitioning systems available. They are designed and produced as solid units, with part or full glazing and provide great flexibility with installing, dismantling and relocating with minimal disruption.
The aluminium frames can be powder coated, and the joints can be covered with aluminium trims or taped and filled to give a flush finish to the wall. These partitions come in a variety of finishes and styles, and they are particularly popular paired with integral blinds within the cavity providing a sleek and stylish alternative to regular window blinds to increase privacy.
Solid aluminium partitions provide sound reduction ratings of up to 52 dB (Rw), while those with double glazing offer up to 46-50 dB (Rw). Fire ratings of aluminium partitions provide a maximum of 60 minutes in both solid panels and those with glazing.
Glass partitioning in offices has become one of the most popular choices for dividing large offices into unique, individual workspaces. By separating work areas and still allowing natural light to pass from room to room, glass partitions will give a spacious feel to your work environment.
This is especially true if it is not viable to relocate your company to another building, which is why glass partitions are a great way to alter your office space to provide a good working environment for an expanding workforce. And unlike many other partition systems, glass partitions can be designed to fit any requirement.
Glass partitions have to be made obvious with the application of a vinyl pattern, also known as glass manifestations. These are a safety requirement to prevent injuries from people walking into the glass. Manifestations can also provide extra privacy and be a smart decorative feature. Corporate branding such as a logo can also be incorporated with bespoke filming to create a more personalised image when required.
Glass partitioning systems are available with either frameless full height glazing for a smooth and sleek finish or solid aluminium frames. Examples of our glass partition installations can be found here >
