Emerald Interiors is proud to have successfully completed this luxury retail fit out for Pineider in Mayfair, London, a prestigious Italian stationery company. Pineider is known for its fine writing instruments and functional leather goods, with the brand’s prestige built on heritage, quality, and innovation.

Three centuries after the opening of their first shop in Florence, Pineider have opened a flagship store in the heart of Mayfair, London at 3 Clifford Street, which connects New Bond Street to Savile Row. The prominent corner location is a prime retail position. Placed within the property, built in 1852, the sensitive and elegant refurbishment balances historic restoration with contemporary flair, using exceptionally high-quality materials and finishes.

Our shop fitting team took care of the entire luxury retail fit out project. As the coordinating main contractor, we liaised closely with the architects based in Italy, to deliver the outstanding retail environment. Emerald Interiors provided project management and supplied all the necessary trades, including electrical, painting and decorating, carpentry, furniture, plumbing and awnings.

Everything installed to exacting standards

Our carpentry and joinery work included bespoke handcrafted display furniture, custom cabinetry, a new timber glazed office space and high-end kitchen. Our skilled joiners have made sure the furniture looks beautiful and is built to last.

We installed new energy-efficient track and display lighting to create a subtle yet bright light in the store and a pleasant and inviting shopping experience for customers.

New traditional timber shop front

Emerald Interiors also oversaw the build and installation of the bespoke façade, made from hardwood plywood. Our team carried out the decoration work, ensuring a flawless finish to make the shopfront the best on the street. The awning was chosen to harmonise with the historic architecture of the building, and the design brings extra cachet to an already sophisticated location.

The refurbishment, reconfiguration and fit-out of this luxury retailer’s flagship store required exacting standards of workmanship in keeping with the brand. Careful management of the works was required in this prestigious neighbourhood and conservation area. Works were carefully planned, sequenced, and segregated, and we consulted regularly with our clients throughout.
